The flat tea bowl is a very popular Hasami ware series from Hakusan Pottery. The most attractive feature is its excellent designs that can be enjoyed both inside and out of the bowl. With a larger and flatter shape than a typical bowl, it is very easy to hold and also creates a good stacking effect when stored. It can be used as a rice bowl, a dessert bowl, or a small bowl to serve side dishes and simmered dishes.
